Ford Focus launched!

Hello there and this is my second post on the local car scene. Now, lets talk about the much hyped about Focus. The new Ford Focus, acclaimed for its ground breaking technologies such as Active City Stop, which debuted on the Volvo XC60 which helps avoid low speed collisions by applying the brakes when the driver is too slow to respond.Besides that, it also comes with Active Park Assist which helps you park in parallel parking spots using sensors to scan the spot if the car is able to fit and instructing the driver to work the accelerator and brakes while the car navigates itself  into the parking spot.Furthermore, it also comes Ford Sync(TM) which is actually a voice recognition system to operate your MP3 player and phone. It can even read a text message for you.Others include Torque vectoring control which balances torque and braking force to the two front wheels for maximum grip, Active Grill Shutter to control the car's front air vents to maximize aerodynamics and decrease wind resistance thus reducing fuel consumption., Intelligent Key-less entry with push start, Blind Spot Information System which gives out a warning light to tell the driver that a car is in it's blind spot and lastly a new 2.0l with twin independent variable camshaft timing and direct fuel injection that churns out 170ps (167hp) and 202 newton metres of torque coupled with a 6 speed dual clutch transmission. Fuel economy is rated at 14.9km/l which is impressive for a 2.0L engine. To learn more about these ground braking technologies, go to http://www.ford.net.my/all_new_focus/
